With a history of building trebuchets throughout the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries and after a short break to investigate the new fangled technology called “electricity”, Scott joined Brisbane Arts Theatre in 2011 as the Set Constructor.
In 2016 Scott took his tools and went home but continued to build sets for a variety of companies before, deciding he could be parted from us no longer. He returned as Set Constructor in 2021 but only under the condition that his position description be updated to Builder of Silly Things.
Scott will likely be the one to nail the doors shut when the premesis is vacated in July 2024 because, in his words “Damnit! It’s my bloody hammer!”
