Moist Von Lipwig is a charismatic conman who is caught for his crimes and sentenced to death by hanging. And he is hanged, or so he thought. Redemption comes in the form of the new Post Master position at the run-down Ank Morpork post office. His efforts to restore it to its former glory days are helped (or hindered) by a number of quirky characters including: the ancient, the obsessed, the equally cunning, the undead, clay sentient beings and he even finds love along the way.
