This is the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly, lonely, and angry man who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Yet to Come, who together show Scrooge his life and the impact he has had on others.
Brisbane Arts Theatre proudly presents the world premiere of Ebenezer, a new adaptation of the beloved classic A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Ebenezer brings a fresh perspective to the tale, delving deeper into Scrooge’s motivations, fears and, most importantly, hopes. Because A Christmas Carol is a story about hope, and love, and redemption.
